Can I take it as hand luggage?
It’s bigger than the underseat size, but fits the usual cabin size (55 × 40 × 20 cm): it travels in the overhead locker.
Will a laptop fit?
Yes: it has a laptop compartment. Check your screen size against the bag’s dimensions.
Is it comfortable for a whole day?
Adjust the straps so the bag sits close to your back, with the bottom at the small of your back: that stops it pulling on your shoulders. With a heavy load, pack the heaviest items against your back.
How do I look after it?
Nylon and Oxford fabric are light and dry quickly; they handle rain better than canvas. A wipe with a sponge is all it takes to clean them.

Do the wheels cope with cobbles?

Double wheels handle uneven surfaces better than single ones, and are easier to replace. On cobbles, pull the case rather than pushing it: the force goes along the axle, not into the fixing.
