• full-grain leather: the bag with a dry / wet divider and shoe compartment (£249.90, coffee), whose listing mentions a laptop sleeve, and the vintage-look model at £258.90 (black coffee);
• top layer of cowhide: the multi-compartment vintage-look model, £308.90 in black and £316.90 in retro brown.

Full-grain leather keeps the natural surface of the hide: it is the one that develops the most patina over time.

Waxed canvas and leather: the vintage style

The vintage leather and waxed canvas bag (£149.90, khaki, grey or green) combines genuine leather and waxed canvas. The model in waxed canvas and leather (£109.90, grey, black, khaki or green) is described as oiled canvas and leather, with no detail on the type of leather.

Finally, the tough model at £79.90 (black) states leather without saying which kind: it is the cheapest on the page.
